Great place for dinner, typically has live music at night. Has an outdoor bar, and fire pit that is on at night. Great food and atmosphere. Kid friendly. We recommend going early, or the wait will be long! It's a great spot, but gets busy!! They only take reservations for parties of 5+. Ember is a 2-3 minute drive from the house, and a 10 minute walk from the house! Plenty of parking at Ember!

親子出遊
Great for kids!
This neighborhood is great for kids! There's always kids (young and older) passing by the house riding bikes/scooters. Feel free to bring bikes/scooters anything of that sort for kids to bike around during your stay. Strollers and wagons are fine as well, and can be left at the top of the stairs by the beach!

Beach information
The beach is a 2 minute walk from the house. No need to get in the car! Plenty of seating room on the beach, you are free to sit wherever on the beach. No passes are necessary in order to access the beach. Just be cautious of the "private beach" signs that are put up next to certain properties. There is no lifeguard on duty. No restrictions on bringing glass/alcohol to the beach!

- There are 5 twin size beds and 1 full size bed that will all have clean sheets and pillow cases prior to your arrival. No need to pack sheets, unless you'd like to!
- Beach/shower towels will NOT be provided, please bring your own.
- There are several beach chairs and an umbrella in the basement (located outside on the left of the house) that you are welcome to use!
**Reminder that there is NO indoor shower! Bring shower shoes if desired**

What to know about MV (Martha's Vineyard)
The ferry for MV is through Steamship Authority, and leaves from Woodshole which is about an hour drive from the house. 🚗There are signs for parking once you get off the highway. Once you park, there is a free shuttle that runs every 20-30 minutes. You should plan to leave about 2 hours before your ferry is scheduled to depart. Rates & tickets are available on the Steamship Authority website. Bikes don’t need to be reserved in advance (but if you call, they will reserve them for you), there are many bike places you’ll see once you get off the ferry, they are all good options.

What to know about Nantucket (ACK)
Freedom Cruise Line offers a ferry to Nantucket leaving directly from Harwichport (very convenient!!) It is a bit pricier than using Steamship Authority, but worth it because it’s a 5 minute drive to the ferry. The second option is booking through Steamship Authority which leaves from Hyannis which is about a 30 minute drive from the house. The price difference is $30 roundtrip. Booking for both is available on their websites! Freedom Cruise Line is a smaller boat, and requires advance booking, Steamship is a much larger boat, so booking same day is typically not an issue if its last minute!
