Always a great atmosphere and offers simple, wholesome and flavour led food using only the best local ingredients. You could stop in at Bread & Jam an intimate and fun table service cocktail bar set in the arches beneath the restaurant and Dilly Bar. Or if you fancy a late night drink and a dance, Club Lomah is next door – there is lots on offer at Walcot House!

Sydney Gardens, which are the only remaining eighteenth-century pleasure gardens in the country, are just down the road, and a lovely place to take a stroll. The Holburne Museum and Cafe situated in front of the gardens is also a great place to pick up coffee before exploring.

Bath Abbey was completed in 1611 and is right at the heart of the city. Definitely take a look inside, if you have time, but the surrounding churchyard is perfect for viewing.

Prior Park Gardens are maintained by the National Trust, and found about half-way up Ralph Allen drive. It’s a beautiful place to walk and only a little way from the city.
