Parks & Nature
Stunning views and great beaches. This is located in Oak Harbor and is about a 50 minute drive from Langley. It is a must see and do while visiting Whidbey Island.
All state parks in Washington require a parking fee. You can purchase a day pass but it's most economical to buy a yearly pass if you plan to visit more than one State park. Some parks have places to park that do not require a pass but those are far and few between.

After you visit the beach, hop in the car and drive to historic downtown Coupeville where you will find wonderful restaurants and views of Penn Cove. Penn Cove muscles are harvested here and served all over the world. If you like muscles, make sure to share them with a friend from Toby's Bar, a local hang-out where they are famous for their muscles.
