Toronto's Casa Loma is the only real full-size castle in a North American city and at Halloween time it's one of the best places to checkout if you want a good scare. I believe that only way to enjoy Casa Loma and to get your money's worth is to do one of their many different events through out the the year. I have only heard great things about Casa Loma's Legends of Horror. This something that I will be doing this year.
Please note that you do have to buy your tickets in advance as it does sell out.

Martino Manor is one of the strangest thing in Toronto. As the person who owns the home, turned it into a haunted house and it only open from late September till a few days after Halloween. BUT! It's a lot of fun and you will have a few good screams. They only take cash.
Now that you are at this hunted house why not have dinner at Mamma Martino’s Restaurant which is a cute Italian eatery. They don't take reservations and they don't do separate bills. The food is good for what it is.
After you get scared, head across the street to Tom's Dairy Freeze for some of the best soft serve ice cream in Toronto. It's one of the the oldest ice cream shops in Toronto. They also only take cash......Maybe just have cash on you for the whole night.

The Keg Mansion is one of the most hunted places to eat in Toronto and their food is to die for.
Some people have seen children playing in the hall way, see a woman in the window, taps turning on in the woman's bathroom and have felt someone watching in the stall (ghost love the woman's bathroom).
I always like to sit up stairs as that is where the action is and every Halloween I like to bring my Meetup group their. We always has a ghostly time.

Church and Wellesley has the biggest Halloween Party anywhere in Canada! It only happens on Halloween. This celebration is about taking back the night. In the 70's and 80's the queer community would get dressed up and would hope from one gay bar to another on Yonge Street but people would come down to Yonge Street, throw eggs, fruit and event bricks. Most of the time the police would stand back and do nothing. Over time the community moved on to Church and things got better with the police. This is a night to celebrate and embrace parts of ourselves we might not be able to be the rest of the year.
Don't forget to bring your camara and always ask if you can take someone's picture. If you see a drunk Winnie The Poor running around it my just be me.

Haunted Walk
Haunted Walk . com is one of the only haunted walk tour in Toronot....Unless you do my ghost walk of University of Toronto.
They are good at what they do, they are not to long, they hire actors which are great storytellers. It's all scripted and very serious (no shade). If you want to hear a few haunted stories, go out and listen. You will learn something about Toronto.
