This beutiful waterfall is located only few min drive from the cabin.
It is a 3.7km walk from the car park wich is right next to a small river called Brúará.
Bring your hiking boots.
There is also i parking lot a little bit closer to the waterfall but i recomend i nice hike :)

You can enjoy a walk there and see where the parlament of Iceland was formed in the year 930 or go snorkling in Silfra wich i highly recomend.

This is one of my favorite waterfalls in Iceland.
Next to this waterfall is a cool museum Skógar musem displaying all sortes of cool things including agriculture, handcraft and automobil history of Iceland.
I recomend this one.
