Located 16 miles(30-45 minutes in general) from Happy Villa, pack up the car with your cooler, beach gear and lots of sunscreen and head to this beach. There is an entire page devoted to parking options on the fortmyersbeachfl dot GOV webpage.
Traffic can get bad during high season especially during spring break in March so plan your visit accordingly.
If you want to spend a day there, you'll be okay if you go early & stay late for the easiest travel times.
And remember - you are on vacation! You are not in a hurry. It's island time, after all!
