It's a fabulous resource with all the World News and Local History including online at Papers Past NZ how the world evolved, where floods have occurred, how people lived and thought of all of us to come dating back to 1839!!!
We are so lucky we have all this factual history of all our world's countries in one place.

Mount Hobson was created into a Domain for the betterment of the People of Auckland, New Zealand under the 1882 Domains Act by the local people of Remuera - the Flowers including Periwinkle, Blue Blues, Cinerias, African Iris were all gifted by David Hay and Son who had Montpellier Nursery, Seaview Road, Remuera in the 1880's.
See if you can find the Honey Bees hive on Mount Hobson!!
Mount Hobson used to have Alderney Cattle grazing on it in 1906.
Horses used to stop and drink water from the troughs on the way through Auckland.
Sheep also grazed on there as did Peter Linton's family's cows up until some senseless, uneducated people decided they know better about New Zealand's history.
We have Laws for one and all.
