Sightseeing
Visit the graveyard where the "47 Ronin" (also known as Akoroshi, the "masterless samurai from Ako") are buried. There is also a small museum commemorating the 47 Ronin.

There are close to 20 temples and shrines around our home, being the entry way to the old EDO castle along TOKAIDO ROAD. This one has a great view of the city, and you can imagine people looking towards Tokyo bay sending prayers for safe travel to KYOTO, and successful business in EDO.
Cemetery of TAISUKE ITAGAKI (leader of the Freedom and People's Rights Movement in the late 1800s in Japan and in Taiwan) is located in the back of the shrine.

We love our local hot springs, public bath place, short walk from our home. You will be amazed with the black water and it's silky touch to the skin. Some visit from Shibuya - Yokohama every week!
