It’s a day trip from the city, but this is the most beautiful state park in Washington. There are plenty of trails in the park and beach access as well.
You will need a Discovery Pass or purchase a $10 day pass to access any state park.

They don’t take reservations, and are only open Wed-Sun. To get a table I recommend going early as the place gets filled up for the night quickly, even on weeknights. They are known for their American wagyu beef. It is a Mexican steakhouse, and the price is fairly reasonable for the food at around $40 per person including drinks. The food is very high quality and everything I’ve tried there is amazing.
