A moderate 45-minute hike to an overlook of the tallest and one of the most scenic waterfalls in South Carolina. There is also a much longer trail that circles over the top of the falls. Information can be found at the welcome center at Caesar's Head State Park and at the trail head just past it. Be sure to stop at Bald Rock and Caesar's Head before or after hiking!

Just downstream from Pelham Mill Park, this river-bend is more of a set of shoals and rapids than a typical waterfall but is a nice riverside spot to relax and enjoy nature. Kayaking is allowed on this stretch of the Enoree River, last I was aware.

One of the nicest county parks around Greenville featuring a few easy trails through 400 acres of beautiful natural habitat. This park is located at the southern end of the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
The park contains both hardwood and evergreen forest, extensive wetlands, three miles of the Reedy River, and a rich diversity of wildlife habitat. Deer, raccoon, beaver, fox, river otter, and various small mammals inhabit the park, along with numerous species of reptiles and amphibians. The park's 20 acres feature lots of rolling green lawns and mature trees, not to mention swings, playground equipment, a gracious amphitheater, water features, and a covered stone cabana that's available for rent. Lovely, rambling trails are ideal if you want to run, bike, or walk your dog. Pick-up games are also a common occurrence, and a sand volleyball court is popular. On hand too are grills, bike racks, and picturesque landscaping and stonework.
