I can recommend you to go to "pasáž Světozor" for ice-cream and then enjoy it and sit in "Františkánská garden" (5 minutes), which was built by Charles IV, there are roses, fruit trees and "Church Panny Marie Sněžné", which has the highest ceiling in middle Europe, interesting is that it should be twice that big to the length.

Prague Castle where is the Cathedral of St. Vitus
I would recommend you to walk through the "Royal Route" so you will see the most famous sightseeings in Prague. The Royal Route is the name of the historical route after which the Czech kings were going to the coronation. The route starts at the Powder Tower, continues to Celetná street, Old Town Square, Karlova street, Charles Bridge, Lesser Town, Nerudova street and it ends at Prague Castle, where is the St. Vitus Cathedral. I would recommend you to continue to "Valdštějnská zahrada" where are peacocks and then just go to metro Malostranská (green line) back home to station Muzeum (5 minutes) and then on foot to the apartment (1 minute). It is the nicest way, I know :)

How you get from the airport to the apartment?
1) From the airport is the apartment 36 minutes by car. My friend is taximan, he gives me good price 500 czk for a car. Contact me if you are interested.
2) Or you can go by public transport, it takes 45 minutes. First you will go by bus 119 from station "U Hangáru" to station "Nádraží Velestavín" (about 12 minutes). From here you will go by metro from station "Nádraží Veleslavín" to station "Muzeum" (about 12 minutes). Then you will go to Krakovská 23.
