This is my go to spot for burger and a beer. Happy hour (4-6 or 5-7) have half priced draft craft beers. Very eclectic menu, but great and knowledgable staff at an undercover amazing place. I think there is a pool table upstairs too. Don't expect to find a ballgame on the tv though.

If you ever wanted to walk into 1920's south philadelphia. Go here. It's a tiny little bread bakery run by the most wonderful 85 year old man from Sicily. The tomato pie is the only reason some people allow me in their house, if I show up with out it, I am denied entry. Please, check this place out. Tomato pie is a classic Philadelphia food and this shop will make your trip.

Amazing Mexican food. If you head down to the Ballparks, fuel up here with some generous portions. Tacos are great for a tailgate.

Great location on Passyunk Ave. I think of it as the 13th street entrance to the Passyunk Corridor. Stop in for a beer on the way up South Philadelphia's most exciting streets. They normally have a game on tv, if not, ask.

This place is great because it is right on a bus line (45) that takes you right into center city if you are starting you night, or headed home after a day of sight seeing.
It is a corner property with 2 huge windows with a pretty great unobstructed view of the center city skyline. The two huge windows also make for great people watching over a huge selection of craft draft and globally imported bottles. Amazing Grilled Cheese.
