A proper English pub in the middle of a typical New Forest Village. Friendly staff, great food and very popular. Booking is a must, in the summer months especially. Usually have ponies roaming the village green outside

Our local village pub is a 15 min stroll or 2 min drive away. Very relaxed and informal atmosphere, large portions, varied menu and great for for kids. Highly recommend for your first night, when you don't fancy cooking after your journey.

Carlos are a firm favourite with visitors to the area, and produce a delicious ice cream unlike any other, using a secret family recipe. Sit and relax in the gardens, and watch the chickens, rabbits and other small creatures hop about.

One of my personal favourites! Either sit in, or order a platter to takeaway. We love collecting a Mixed platter of cheeses and meats, a wonderful bottle of wine and sitting at the farm watching the sunset.
