Jubala is known for having amazing coffee. This is the sister shop of the original in Lafayette Village farther north. A great place to sip excellent coffee and work on your laptop, or have a meeting.

This is my favorite spot to go grab brunch on the weekends (Sat/Sun)! They open at 11:30, but you probably want to get there at 11:00 if you want to get a seat without a wait. Great menu with local ingredients and they serve breakfast alcohol drinks if that's your thing!

This place serves fantastic dishes for folks with these dietary restrictions, and the food is diverse and tasty enough that even carnivores can find something enjoyable to eat! It's a little more expensive, and hard to get a reservation on short notice, but Death & Taxes, another of several amazing Ashley Christiansen restaurants in Downtown Raleigh, sports a fantastic family-style menu of small plates. The food here is absolutely incredible, but like you might expect from a high-end restaurant, portion sizes are on the smaller side.

Bida Manda is quite possibly the best restaurant in Downtown Raleigh! Their simple menu of Laotian cuisine is phenomenal. I highly recommend the papaya salad with duck breast, the chicken curry, or the crisp pork belly soup! But make a reservation one week in advance if you plan to try it out!

I highly recommend the papaya salad with duck breast, the chicken curry, or the crisp pork belly soup! But make a reservation one week in advance if you plan to try it out!
I LOVE Mami Nora's! In my opinion, the best thing on the menu is the chicken with plantains and yucca fries!

The atmosphere is low-key and the space is well decorated with a good low-light vibe. It is one of several fantastic Ashley Christiansen Raleigh establishments.
