7a Foods is a staple of the West Tisbury culinary scene! Providing superb sandwiches to go on your way to the beach, 7a is both affordable (for the Vineyard) and delicious, in addition to being just 5 minutes from the Studio!
(If you're lucky, you might stop in at a time when Will, one of the two hosts, is working. No bias went into the creation of this guidebook, we swear.)
We recommend the Liz Lemon, by far the most popular that 7a has to offer. The compost cookie (chocolate, pretzels, potato chips, coffee, and oatmeal) is definitely worth trying too!

Little House is an excellent place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It has sit-down meals, as well as take-out. Some specialties are the breakfast wrap, the beer-battered fish tacos, and the falafel.

Backdoor Donuts is a classic late night stop for islanders and tourists alike. True to the name, Backdoor is literally located at the rear entrance of a bakery, and it offers doughnuts baked mere minutes before they enter your hands. We recommend the apple fritter, it somehow tastes even better than it smells!
Being as popular as it is, Backdoor can accrue quite a long line. Don't worry, it moves quickly! Don't let it deter you from an incredible experience!

We don't have a lot of asian food on the island, but Bangkok Cuisine rivals the best on the mainland. The food is incredible and the people are so nice! I would recommend the Pad See Ew to anybody, but I'm sure your favorite Thai dish is incredible there as well.

Bangkok Cuisine
67 Circuit AveWe don't have a lot of asian food on the island, but Bangkok Cuisine rivals the best on the mainland. The food is incredible and the people are so nice! I would recommend the Pad See Ew to anybody, but I'm sure your favorite Thai dish is incredible there as well.
Sightseeing
The Aquinnah Cliffs Overlook is my #1 favorite place to bring people who have never been to the island before. It may be out of the way, but the view is absolutely unrivaled. The small town center of Aquinnah is home to the Wampanoags, the Native Americans on the island. It's on the cliffs that you can explore the history and culture of the Wampanoag people, which is fascinating and lovely.

The small town center of Aquinnah is home to the Wampanoags, the Native Americans on the island. It's on the cliffs that you can explore the history and culture of the Wampanoag people, which is fascinating and lovely.
Menemsha is one of the very best places to see the sunset on the vineyard. It gets busy in the evening, so it can be hard to park, but it's a really stunning view.

The Loft Nightclub is one of the few places on the Vineyard that stays open late, which alone puts it at the top of the list for nightlife. However, the relaxed atmosphere it offers makes for a pleasant night for those in search of a fun evening!
In addition, it has what is by far the best pizza the island has to offer! Don't miss out on the Loft!
