Recreation galore, a bike and running path, with room for dog walkers and sort. Not a beach but a lay on a blanket kinda vibe. Tennis on the north side, Lake Calhoun with the beaches to the south.

A no cover down home place full of maybe punks to older artisans of many persuasions, be nice to your bartender or they will out wait your finger tapping without so much as a glance.
