SUP LBK is located here! Owned and run by my family, come Stand-Up Paddleboard on this 76 acre lake. This lake is one of Lubbock's best kept secrets! My mom will welcome you and my dad will give you a mini-lesson and get you set up on a board. Opened seasonally - around April-mid October.

Best movie theater in the nation. Period. Of course, after living in Austin for over 10 years I'm kind of biased. ;) If you don't have an Alamo Drafthouse where you're from you MUST go experience the Drafthouse.

Fancy Schmancy and pricey restaurant inside the Overton Hotel. While I've never been here, since it's relatively new, I've heard great things if you are looking for an extra special place for a night out.

Owned by the brother of Thai Thai (my fav place). Choochai is very traditional Thai. Also very good and closer to the house! A true hole in the wall kind of spot.

I went here during college because they have great martinis BUT they also have great food and now Saturday brunch. Nice upscale vibes. They usually have live music in the bar in the evenings.
