Rent a bike and bike from the apartment down Chartres Street to the end of the street, and lock up your bikes in front of Bacchanals. It is a wine store, where you buy bottles of wine in the front, and then sit outside and drink, order food, and listen to live music on picnic chairs outside in the back yard. They also have an indoor/upstairs bar area with drinks and beer on tap. A very unique and authentic New Orleans experience. Live music at night. Do not go if it's wet or rainy - it can get buggy
