Nice vigorous walk up the hill from St Jean area... or if you are feeling lazy today, you can take the funicular. Great view from up on top and the decor of the basilica on the inside is made in beautiful golden mosaic tiles.

Eye candy everywhere. Even the building is beautiful... It is an old monastery with a quiet courtyard. Inside the building there is a lovely café with a good "café gourmand".

Just walking around the controversial spaceship-like architecture of this museum is worth the trip. The exhibits of the museum are eclectic and change often. Great place to provoke your "thinking out of the box brain muscles.

you can access the Confluence shopping center.
Sure you can do your shopping at Confluence from Carrefour to Kusmi Tea to Go Sport... but you can also eat or have a drink on the top floor terraces and look over the modern architecture across the port. Very peaceful.
