Gateway to the Strahov Monastery and Loretánské Square, and with views on the Vltava River, the Old Town, Charles Bridge, Mala Strana and Prague Castle, you will enjoy some of the most memorable sightseeing you'll ever come to witness.
If you're not in the mood for a hike, the summit is linked to Ujezd and Prague's Malá Strana district by the Petřín funicular.

Museum Kampa is a modern art gallery in Prague, showing Central European, and in particular Czech work. It has an interesting collection of Kupka's paintings. The museum opened in 2003 and is housed in the Sova's Mills on the eastern bank of the Kampa Island on the Vltava River.
There is a large sculpture of a chair by Magdalena Jetelová outside the museum, which is a prominent landmark visible from across the Vltava.

In one of the current exhibits you can learn more about the "making of" this spectacular piece of architecture that opened its doors to public in December 2016 (exhibit on until June 30, 2017).

Open late (10:00 PM) and every day of the week, it is mighty convenient, less than 100 meters (300 ft) from home.
