Nice restaurant about 5 km biking or walking from the campsite. Simple but honest food. Specialty: a beef burger made of the Red cows that graze in the dunes around the site.

This is a lovely secluded place across the train station in Castricum. It is a beautiful garden looked after by volunteers that also serve coffee, tea and some snacks and regularly organize events.
