This restaurant is about 20 mins from us in Manteo. We both love the fish tacos and their Churro's. Manteo is a cool small town with lots of shopping ice cream, brewery and distillery to visit.

We are regulars here for breakfast and lunch! Friendly staff with great prices and portions! Try the Beach Bum Breakfast Burrito and for Lunch try the Buffalo Chicken Wrap or Chicken Cesaer Wrap! This is more of a grab and go restaurant, but they do have 3 or 4 tables outside to eat at.

One of the coolest frozen yogurt bars you will go to. Dont let the yogurt scare you it tastes just like ice cream and the owners are awesome locals. This place is super busy at night and highly recommended!

Each year the owner donates it to Surfing for Autism and an event is held for special needs children who want to learn to surf.

Two Roads Tavern is tucked away in a corner of a strip mall and if you made it to our house you passed it a few miles back! Lauren and I had never heard of it until we moved here and we have been visiting the Outer Banks since we were babies. They have unique burger options and they sure are good.

In season they usually have weekend brunch in Saturday’s, always call first- it varies but it’s so good. Mimosa flights all the way!

If you have never seen a lighthouse in person I suggest you go see this. Its 156ft tall with 200 steps and only 20 mins away. Must buy tickets to walk to the top of lighthouse or you can walk the grounds of the lighthouse for free. There is a path that leads to a sitting area over the water on the left side of the lighthouse.
