This is only 20 minutes from the house! It is a fantastic skiing, snowboarding, tubing mountain! Lots of activities all year round! Biking trails, horse back riding and more!

Sightseeing
Alton Bay is beautiful! It is at the bottom of Lake Winnipesaukee! You can stroll through in the summer time and play miniature golf, get an ice cream from Shibley's and go down to the pier and watch the boats come in! Also every Saturday night in the July & August they have bands play in the bandstand! Free admission! Also in February every year there is a Winter Carnival on the lake with Local vendors, Music, sleigh rides and more! Also Alton Bay is the only place in the lower 48 states where planes land on the ice!

A great Day trip! You can take the Cog Railroad to the top or you can drive tour vehicle up! (If you are Brave enough! and have good breaks!) Or you can go in a Van that someone else drives! A must see! It has the harshest weather on earth! Beautiful, breathtaking views! Worth the trip! it takes about 1 1/2 hours to get there, but it is a beautiful easy, drive!

Weirs Beach is only 1/2 drive from the house! There is lots to do! You can walk the boulevard, play the arcades, shop, lots of restaurants! You can even hop aboard the Hobo Railroad for a train ride!
