You can take a walk up the table mountain from the Annex. Just walk up the hill past the primary school. Take the path that runs between 54 and 56 Oakfield Drive up to Cwmbeth Close and then Darren View. At Darren View, you will see the signpost to enter the first field. There are couple of donkeys and cows usually in the field but it is a well used path and as long as you respect their space, they won't bother you.
