Open in the middle of the night when you NEED a pharmacy. The pharmacy staff have been great in dealing with 'vacation emergencies' . All the regular drug store stuff too! Short drive but . . .

Always crowded - best bet - a couple of seats at the oyster bar - look for the two that are often empty on the street side kinda hidden - Trout almandine & Char broiled oysters - safe bet for seafood.

Simply have to LOVE this place - the gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches are hearty, the view from the patio incredible, and budget friendly!!

Thin Crust New York Style - take out is best as seating is not on par with the quality of the Fantastic pizzas - even my mom from Wisconsin likes the pizza here - "Enough Said" - lol

All-around great Mexican food I usually get to go - However as Ventura re-opens their inside dining room offers festive decor and can easily accommodate larger groups.
Their Arose con Pollo - is perhaps my favorite dish and their simple salad has an incredible dressing it’s not quite green goddess I think it has Pepitos in it?
On a final note all of their bar staff know how to make an excellent blended margarita!!
