Soul food at it's best. Family run and Greg (the owner) went to my alma mater, Howard University. Warm and hospitable atmosphere and the food is "off the chain."

This is the healthy spot in the community. Great smoothies, patties and pretty much any "healthy" option you can think of. They also have an health & herb shop connected where you can get your vitamins on. Oh, on weekends, there's always a cool band performing on the patio. Funky cool music and great people to boot!

Now this place will take you back... I really mean take you back in time! Gentlemen offer to buy you drinks and give you their seat. Be careful though -- the drinks are strong! Old fashioned type strong. There's food (mostly fried and greasy but tasty) and there's music. Down home blues and R&B--a bit loud and people singing in the crowd. In general, you're gonna have a funky good time. No rap or current music.

Just visited for the holidays. This place was really cool. Iconic views and a slide that makes you feel like you're flying across the sky. Check it out. This spot is making Downtown a "hot" scene.

We call this Fox Hills Mall because that's the name from "back in the day." An upgrade from the Westfield group still hasn't changed the community feel of the mall. Lots of food spots on the top floor and your regular shopping staples to boot -- JC Penney's, Macy's and Target. Shop til you drop.
