It rains less on the south side so if its raining by the condo it may be sunny in Kihei. At night it is great for restaurants, bars, and live music. They hold Fourth Friday once a month which is like a street fair with food trucks and vendors, good fun for the evening.

It is a beautiful drive to the port town of Lahaina. Many shops, bars, restaurants, and the huge, famous Banyan Tree that spreads throughout an entire block! Great to visit day or night.
