Fantastic toasted ham & toasted cheese sandwiches, I don't know what English breakfast tea bags they use but they're amazing. Coffee amazing too. Seating area a little pokey. Recommend sitting outdoors or grabbing a takeaway and sit in nearby park.

Great for a coffee and a bun first thing in the morning. On the way to the tube also if you want to kill two birds with one stone, coffee and the Northern Line. Northern line takes you all over London, both branches, so great for Old Street, Charing X, Camden etc.

With its mis-matched furniture, sack-cloth covered ceiling and an array of art on display — Maloko is a cosy, relaxed café. The owner, Cameroonian Francklin Eavagle, has one eye on the growing number of artists residing in Camberwell and envisions a 'community driven' crêperie where the local burgeoning creative community can meet, hold exhibitions and music events. He specialises in vegan-friendly, gluten-free galettes — made from buckwheat — as well as traditional crêpes.

First class food in a very friendly family run restaurant. There's a very good 1st class set menu which is very good value for money. The Sunday Lunches are excellent but I would suggest booking as it's very busy. Good food, good service, great price, you can't ask for much more.

With a strong focus on craft beer and ale, the Stormbird currently boasts 13 draught beers and a huge selection of bottled craft brews. The Stormbird doesn't actually serve food, which these days — when every old boozer has morphed into a gastro-pub — is quite a welcome change. To sample the full range of beers without getting completely inebriated, try the 'beer bat'; three small glasses which add up to just one pint in total volume, served in specially-made wooden trays.
