Scandi in style, this cafe is great for waffles (great tip, after 3pm, half price waffles midweek - check first though in case they have stopped doing it), cakes, coffee and scandi style lunches. A fab atmosphere. They now have a bakery too, Bakeri Baltzersen!

Local Beer, brewed on site with a tap room serving great drinks and midweek and weekend street food. Check the website for what is on. It is on the outskirts of Harrogate but a 45 minute walk will take you there or take the train from Harrogate to Hornbeam Park. They have monthly comedy nights and a weekly quiz night too.

We love it here, it is quirky yet fun, kid friendly, dog friendly, just friendly in general. A great independent with a range of beers, spirits and fabulous inexpensive pizzas. You'll while away a good few hours in here!

There's a fabulous diner complete with an American high school yellow bus. The kids love it but try and book online as gets super busy, especially in the holidays and on weekends.
