We really like Hawthornes because their food and ambiance reminds me of home. They have a range of menu items from delish healthy options to creamed chipped beef and other cozy PA Dutch foods. They also have a "bottle shop" inside of the restaurant where you can select beer, cider, wine, spritzers and other cocktails. The staff is excellent, too. Susan makes the best recommendations for alcohol and food pairings.

We love this cafe because of its locally roasted, responsibly sourced coffee and foods that taste absolutely fabulous. Bonus- this location has a rum distillery! A MUST SEE. The interior design of this place is spectacular!!!!

Honey's Sit and Eat is a delicious hipster spot with some of the best challah french toast that I have ever had. Fluffy, citrus, sweet, but not too sweet. I recommend the original location in the Northern Liberties area of the city. The wait is long so you can go up the street to a little tea cafe called "The Random Tea Room and Curiosity Shop" I recommend the chai. That is how the locals do it. They'll text you when your table is ready. Bonus: they have lots of plucky and provocative items for sale.

This is easily my favorite restaurant in the city. Fusion of american flavors and indian flavors. Overall, they activate every area of your palette with sweet, savory, tangy, sour, salty flavors in every dish. Highly recommend the lamb. Come for dinner and stay for drinks - the drinks are phenomenal. On Sundays they have an excellent brunch that we love.

Best chips and guac in the city- no contest! Margaritas and other cocktails are exceptional. I love the plucky, fun interior. By day this spot is a restaurant, by night- it turns into a bustling bar.

A little park at the base of the bridge overlooking the water and Camden. If you like the views of the San Francisco bridge- you'll love this! Very popular selfie spot. On Saturday mornings, they have yoga. They have also been known to have small concerts here.
