Eco-Cottage on the River
Take it easy at this unique and tranquil, eco friendly getaway. A fly fishing paradise right on the Bitterroot river. Kick up your feet in one of the many relaxing seating areas, wither that's in the greenhouse on a swinging chair, in the hammock on the sunporch, out on the deck overlooking the river or beside the fire on a beautiful Montana night. The eco friendly cottage is made out of straw bales, surrounded on one side by a large greenhouse, across the river from a wildlife refuge.
This fun cottage is located on the east side of the Bitterroot Valley, bordered on three sides by state land, so there is room to hike. A 10 minute drive brings you to the Bitterroot River, known for its excellent fly fishing. Across the valley are numerous trail heads that lead into the Bitterroot Mountains. By renting with us, guests agree to the terms of the contract. 2 night minimum stay. No animals allowed due to pet dander that is difficult to remove, and severe allergies to it.
