I have to confess I've never stepped into this patisserie but their macrons are famous all over the city.
Upscale bakery known for its pastries, artisan breads, caramel and macarons. You will not be disappointed!
I lived in France for 3 years as a kid ... this place is the best, most authentic French bakery I've ever come across in America ... these croissants just melt in your mouth (they taste best in the morning when they're freshest!)
Charming French bakery where you are greeted with a "Bonjour!" Get the macaroons, of course! Also, the almond croissants are out of this world.
“One of a kind sit-down tea shop with a delightful variety of teas. Chai chai chai! is a personal favorite. ”
“he very best Squirrel Hill, family owned cafe. (Not a chain.) Exceptional coffee, homemade bagels, muffins, desserts, granola etc. Beautiful outside seating. The cafe is located in what used to be the legendary George Aiken Deli. The 61 C gets it's name from a busy Port Authority bus stop located directly in front of the cafe.”
“This bakery is divine. Smells great all times of day. Especially try a chocolate eclair or two.”
“The neighborhood is full of good Thai food. This might be the best and has a nice ambience to boot.”
