Opened in 1897 and now has the Mize Athletic with basketball and volleyball arena, fitness center and locker rooms. Recent renovation of the college chapel which now includes 3,675-pipe organ and construction of a wing to house additional classrooms and recital hall. The Swanson Center of Performing Arts.

Chartered in 1897, Piedmont College has always been a point of pride for Habersham County. Today Piedmont College is a well-respected private, comprehensive, liberal arts institution. It's Demorest campus includes 300 acres and 600 students in ten dormitories. While you're there, check out the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art and the historic chapel.
