Chick 'n' sours is a local fried chicken shop, but not as you know it! A whimsical menu of herb fed fried chicken, next level sides, sour cocktails, local beers & cracking soft serve ice cream creations.
Aussie created and Asia inspired fried chicken with sours. Do try the watermelon salad and the kimchi, don't order too much! This place never disappoints and worth booking after 8pm.
“On a sunny day, there is no better place (possibly in the world) than Towpath Café. Just hope it's not the weekend as you won't be the only one with this idea in mind. A small little nook with outdoor seating right on the bank of the Regents Canal, Towpath was founded by American food writer, Lori di Mori, who spent many years in Florence and the Tuscan countryside, only to land in London and create this perfect little haven for food and coffee lovers. Make sure to try and grab the first seat you find as they go quick and then get a friend to queue at the bar to place your order.”
“Not cheap, but delicious. Beautiful wood panelled room and the drama of an open kitchen.”
“You wouldn't just happen upon this bakery, but you will be glad you sought it out. We go there on weekends to get our bread. You need to go down an alley to get to it. Also, there's a brewery that operates next to it in an old box container”
“Pamela is a laid back bar dedicated to cool cocktails and the great Pams of the world, with the likes of Anderson and Grier up on the wall. The booze menu is based around infused spirits, so beetroot gin joins lemon and elderflower in the Beetdown; jalapeño vodka is teamed with kiwi and coconut in the Des Barres; and peanut rye makes up the heart of their Peanut Split Old Fashioned. Pamela is no slouch when it comes to food, either, recruiting top-notch residents to take over their kitchen. Last year it was NOLA-inspired grub from Decateur, and currently there is vegan Mexican food courtesy of Club Mexicana.”
