Stunning walled garden with huge variety of plants . Beautifully laid out to browse at your leisure. Lots of information on types of plants that are good for wildlife. An area for children to play and a lovely coffee shop makes this a must for visitors to the area who love gardening.

Beautiful walled garden within the Gordon Castle Estate. Newly built restaurant & shop. They even make their own botanical skincare and house gin!

When the flowers are in bloom this is a particularly beautiful walled garden to take a stroll around. But is worth a visit at any time of year to learn about the produce grown in the walled gardens and enjoy a snack or meal in the cafe. Also, this is where the wonderful Gordon Castle Gin comes from so a trip into the shop is recommended to purchase a bottle. The shop also sells some beauty products made with ingredients from the walled garden and are a nice luxurious addition to your skincare routine.

Gordon Castle is a classy affair. Their cafe, set beside their huge and beautifully planted walled garden is a lovely place to come for lunch. The menu is derived from the goods grown in the garden where possible. Beautiful surroundings with a children’s play area and gift shop too (see Gordon Castle natural play area link also in this guide).
