An 8-minute drive up the mountain from us, extremely well-maintained -- and considered very challenging. One of two 18-hole courses in the Massanutten Resort. Open to the public. The stunning par 72/73 course measures in at 6,443 yards from the blue tees, 6,087 yards from the white tees, 5,608 yards from the gold tees, and 4,846 yards from the ladies tees. There's also a 9-hole course, called Mountain Greens 2 that features 6,408 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 73. The course rating is 70.5 and it has a slope rating of 128.

Two excellent and challenging golf courses are at Massanutten Resort, one open and one wooded. Rent a golf cart to get around or skip the course and practice on the driving range. Club rental available onsite, and a small shop for golfing essentials.

Massanutten Resort has got tree-lined fairways, with plenty of uphill and downhill contours, and gorgeous scenery at every turn. They have two challenging yet playable 18-hole courses. The Mountain Greens Golf Course® is known for its steeply terraced tees and fairways. The course’s tumbling topography provides a true test for those who want to master fairway speed and tight angles. The Woodstone Meadows Golf Course® is situated at the base of the mountain. Its open and picturesque fairways are good for novice golfers, yet offer skill challenges for experts. Golf for the Rest of Us! Try FlingGolf, an athletic and cool alternative to traditional golf. It's a new sport that combines golf and lacrosse, and has you whipping the ball down the fairway. For those who want to work on their game, the Driving Range is open daily and features 25 practice stalls and a grass hitting area. A short game practice area is also available, featuring a practice green, chipping area, and a sand bunker. Be sure to swing by. Private and Group Lessons are available. All clinics and lessons are scheduled with PGA-trained golf professionals.
