PCC Community Markets - Columbia City
Brand new store with lots of food options: deli, hot bar, salads, tacos and pizza. 12 mins by rt. 7, in Columbia City.
The hot and cold food bar are varied and delicious. The wine & liquor selection is generally local, smartly sourced, and unexpectedly awesome. And, like any good grocery store, the ice cream selection is top notch.
Seattle's locally grown, community-owned grocery store providing fresh, local, organic, seasonal and sustainable products. It's not cheap, but it has everything you need in turns of local and organic products.
“Only a 10-minute walk from our guest house, we love Columbia City Bakery for their amazing baked goods and coffee! We love their savory options - tomato focaccia, gougeres, daily flavors of savory scones, and breakfast sandwiches - but their sweet items are delicious as well.”
“Great oven-fired pizzas and salads. Good for families. Also has an attached bar and coffee cafe' in the morning.”
“First run movies in the historic Ark Lodge building. Thankfully, you don't have to drive to the 'burbs to catch a great flick. The staff is super nice and it has a very local vibe. Walk down and grab some popcorn, then splurge on an ice cream from Molly Moon's after (next door)”
“Great local bar with great cocktails. Casual space - good for late night drinks and light food. Good sandwiches for lunchtime.”
“Our favorite diner in the area, the perfect mix of comforting diner food that's a bit of a step up. They use high quality ingredients for simple diner food with an extra something special. For example I love their BLT with garlic aioli on sourdough bread with arugula, and Ripley will always grab their lemon ricotta pancakes if they are available. ”
