Free admission arts resource for the Penn State University and surrounding communities in central PA. A collection of 9,600 objects representing a variety of cultures and spanning centuries of art, the Palmer is the largest art museum between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
I love this little gem! From the bike path, straight to Park Ave, cross over to campus and keep walking about 5 minutes, and it will be on your left.
Located on PSU campus. Excellent Art museum, often has visiting displays, and its permanent displays are excellent. Has souvenir and Book shop. Free admission, but donations are welcome.
“Higher department stores such as Macy's and boutiques highlight this classic indoor shopping mall on the east side of State College just outside of town.”
“My recommendation for this restaurant, sit in the basement! They often have live music and several unique dishes! Tarynn, my niece, works there, be sure to say "Hi." If youre lucky enough she'll be your server but Matt, Jeff and Kat are awesome as well. if it is weekend, there is a chance you'll run in to us there as well!”
“Millbrook Marsh is an easily accessible place with nice boardwalks for walking along the stream and throughout the marsh. ”
“Excellent local venue for all kinds of renown music acts, theatre performances and more. So civilized with a restored old fashioned theatre stage and balcony but also for their reasonably priced accompaniments of coffee, wine or even local microbrews depending upon the time of day and the venue. ”
