Bear Butte is one of the many interesting geologic formations in the Black Hills. Interesting hike!

Great hiking trail to the top with amazing views. Hiking the butte is steep and rocky in parts with absolutely no shade. Make sure you have proper footwear, water, and sunscreen! Beware of rattlesnakes.
