Thetis Lake is a great spot to relax on the beach, swim, hike/jog the numerous trails or borrow our kayaks and go for scenic paddle from Upper Thetis to Lower Thetis lakes. Trout fishing is also pretty good here both from shore or kayak.

Enjoy a walk around the beautiful lake and/or a nice dip on a hot day. A great place for families, couples or solo travelers.

Many walking trails, and swim spots at this exquisite lake. I got often to do a walking loop and enjoy the tranquility and views.

Natural Feature
“Esquimalt Lagoon Migratory Bird Sanctuary is a saltwater lagoon located at the base of the Royal Roads University property. It is next to the Fort Rodd Hill / Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites and has a panoramic view across Esquimalt Harbour and the Dockyard. The beach is sandy, shallow and perfect for hanging out on a sunny afternoon or just going for a nice dog walk.”

公園
“Wonderful huge park situated on the edge of downtown Victoria surrounded by the funky historic neighbourhood of James Bay with many fine restaurants, pubs and more and on the other side of the park boarded by Cook St. village more yet more restaurants, bakery, pub and a fabulous walkable neighbourhood. At the southern end of Beacon Hill Park is the almost endless coast walk. You can walk in either direction and follow the coast to Fishermans wharf, the Parliament Buildings, The Empress and downtown. Or go in the opposite direction and follow Dallas Rd along the famous Victoria Marathon route to King Edward Terrace and eventually Beach Drive with so many historic sites along the way. ”
