OK, when it comes to French Scrambled Eggs, Simonne and I can hold our own, although Simonne loves to boast her French Scramble is better than mine. Well, she's right :) And if we weren't egg making devotees, we'd definitely get our eggs at Frank's and Francisco's. Why? Because F. and F. has one of those cheap, mobile, "arrow-pointing," illuminated bulb signs that gloats, "Elegant Dining Elsewhere!" We assume any maker of omelets, that honest, must have something worth cracking eggs over and about. Go with our blessing!

Nuthin' fancy - this place's slogan is "Elegant Dining Elsewhere". A true greasy spoon cafe beloved by locals that is open for breakfast/lunch as "Frank's" with excellent omelettes and biscuits/gravy (if that's your thing). It's open again at night for dinner as "Francisco's" serving excellent Mexican food. Walking distance from the Casa!

Frank's/Francisco - this is THE breakfast SPOT. Go during the day for a greasy spoon breakfast, or if you want Mexican food in a diner setting go at night. The staff is super nice and the food is v reasonably priced.
