Penninn Eymundsson Skólavörðustíg
A friendly place to sit down with a magazine and coffee at our newest location on Skolavordustigur. One of the most popular meeting location in the city. Offers a great variety of books, magazines, dvd, music, maps and souvenirs.
It is the largest book seller and there are 3 stores downtown. (Skolavörðustígur, Austurstæti and Laugavegur). There is also a coffee house inside the stores, so you can relax and read some magazines . They offer a great variety of books on Iceland.
Eymundsson bookstore is open from 10-10, nice place to get coffee and check out books
Lovely bookstore (not big but nice selection) and coffee shop - very family friendly - we go there all the time!
This is my favorite bookstore, just about 8-9 min. walk. There is a small cafe where you can sit and browse through magazines and books or have a chinwag with your friends while you drink your coffee or tea or some other refreshing beverage.
Great coffee, busy busy and lots of magazines to read in this bookstore coffee house.

“Siggi the baker is unique and a master konditori. Everything is baked out of finest ingredients. I usually end up having coffee there and some croissants while I work on my emails. The new location is Klapparstígur 3, close to Harpa.”
