“No visit to the Blue Mountains would be complete without visiting the sublime Govett's Leap overlooking the majestic Grose Valley. There are several challenging walks departing from here as well as a lovely cliff top walk to take in the falls either direction. ”
“If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to visit. It is about a 1/2 hour drive from Katoomba, through Blackheath and Mt Victoria and down through Victoria Pass. The shop sells homemade fudge and is filled with sweets from around the world, the hardest thing is choosing.”
“A long drive but an excellent place for a walk in total wilderness. Try the Plateau Walk for an amazing half day walk with breathtaking views in all directions. Do not go here in wet/foggy weather.”
“Relax in the many outdoor and indoor hot springs while taking in the views. Also enjoy a light and healthy Japanese lunch and a wide selection of teas. Total relaxation, highly recommended.”
