Wildlife park is a really cool place to walk around for the day. Feed the giraffes. Watch all other animals being fed. Fun for everyone.
“Willowbank is a local zoo/petting zoo. Its not the cheapest place to go (If you are around for longer its definitely worth to buy a year pass) but an awesome experience. You can feed and pet lots of animals and even see a Kiwi bird in real life! If you are lucky you may also be around for a Haka dance (Native Maori fighting dance) which locals present there occasionally.”
