quaint ocean town. Make sure to hike up to the cross and walk on the pier, and don't forget to capture all of the Pokemon:)
This is mostly used as a fishing pier and it's one of Ventura's oldest landmarks. There are a couple places to eat. Nice place to watch the surf. If you're visiting from out of state the Ventura Pier is nice stroll up and down for views of the Pacific Ocean.
There are great places to eat on the pier and you have a view of the ocean. Sunsets are always a nice way to end the day.
The Ventura pier is a piece of history boats used to come to deliver goods to this pier! On there pier there are also Tacos!
The Pier on the beach in Ventura. Great fish tacos restaurant/bar and Main Street right up the road for a super fun shopping town.
“Great art studio with many artists and crafts people. First Fridays they have food trucks and live entertainment generally”
“Small restaurant with outdoor seating offers a chill spot to relax with classics such as fish tacos.”
“The surplus of sounds makes the scene special, as Ventura has played and continues to play host to music across the spectrum. Excited fans can go from live jazz and classical music to reggae and salsa before rocking out to some of the classic cover bands of California, including Queen Nation and The Mighty Cash Cats—a Johnny Cash cover band—and sometimes even the stars themselves. The city’s stages have welcomed headliners including, among others, Ray Charles, The Doors, Van Halen and, yes, even Johnny Cash. ”
“Every Saturday! Fun, live music, food stalls, hand made crafts, and of course delicious local farm-fresh produce! ”
“Great place to spend an afternoon. Walk around the harbor and peruse the shops. On the other side of the drive is a beautiful beach. There is also a small museum on the Channel Islands.”
