鳥取市の日本海海岸に広がる代表的な海岸砂丘。日本三大砂丘の1つ。山陰海岸国立公園の特別保護地区に指定されており、南北2.4km、東西16kmに広がる日本最大の観光砂丘である。

鳥取砂丘までは車で約40分、公共交通機関では電車とバスで約1時間です。ラクダに乗ったり、砂の美術館を楽しむことが出来ます。To go to Tottori sand dunes 40 minutes by car, 1 hour by train and bus. You can ride a camel, and enjoy the sand museum near the sand dunes.
