Easy 0.7mile walk from the cottage. A small but lovely beach that meets at the mouth of the Swan River.

This tiny beach lies where Swan River meets Nantucket Sound and offers some great views, kayaking with strong tides, and swirling sands. In the summer, the small parking lot gets filled quickly, so get there early.

Another great public beach in Dennisport. This beach is not close enough to walk to, but it would an easy bike ride (if you want to avoid parking fee...and you brought your bikes). You can sit on the beach and watch kayakers and paddle boarders paddle down the Swan River.
