Mission Point is located at the south end of Mission Boulevard. There is a comfort station with showers, a tot lot playground, picnic tables, park benches, fire rings and a path for jogging or bike riding. There is access to the water for swimming although there is no lifeguard on duty. Dogs on leashes are allowed before 9 a.m. and after 6 p.m. The parking lot gates close at 10:00 pm. Food is allowed onsite but no glass containers. Alcohol is not permitted.

This is THE BEST place to go to the beach with small kids. It is on the bay so there are no waves. It is the only place on the bay where the water is really fresh and clean because it is at the Jetty
