One of my favorite spots for lunch. Amazing sandwiches and the little gem salad is the best. A busy spot, so plan on waiting for a table. Pop into Union Studio for some local shopping while you wait for your table.
Union loafers is a great local bread shop that has a delicious lunch and Tues-Sun does wood fired pizza for dinner. The salads could also win awards and who says that about salad? Closed on Mondays. Use the no wait app via Yelp to avoid a long wait.
Literally the best sandwich you'll ever have in your life. They make their bread fresh in-house daily and also have superb soups, salads, craft cocktails and good wine.
They bake all their own bread old world style. The best deli sandwiches during the day, and Neapolitan-style pizzas at night.
Classic bakery with amazing lunch offerings. Can be busy at times, but worth the wait
“You'll want to immediately follow La Pâtisserie Chouquette on Instagram, just to get a delicious preview of the almost-too-pretty-to-eat treats by the talented Simone Faure. St. Louis is so lucky to have this European-style bakery. Highlights include perfect macarons and 'The Darkness,' a flaky dark chocolate croissant. Dear God. ”
“Situated in the historic Grove, offers a great Sunday brunch with some of the best fried chick and waffles. Take a walk around to visit the shops and boutiques after.”
“Our favorite tap-room is a short drive south in The Grove neighborhood. Surrounded by restaurants and shops, this brewery is constantly experimenting with new recipes. You get three 2 ounce tasters and then a full pour of your favorite for only $6. Grab a round here and then head across the street to Urban Chestnut Brewery. ”
“Olio is an up-scale middle eastern restaurant with family-style small plates meant for sharing. It's in a charmingly converted art deco gas station. ”
