The Joe Alon Center was established more than 40 years ago. The center sits among the trees of Lahav Forest and is a historical, cultural, tourist, environmental and educational anchor in the Negev. The Center serves as a foundation for mutual trust, partnership and Bedouin and regional leadership, and as a "meeting between communities" and is connected to the values of the Bnei Shimon Regional Council as a community of communities.
